Structure Synth(2015)

  • Patterns made by Structure Synth, a cross-platform application for generating 3D structures by specifying a design grammar. Developed when I was a graduate student.

Grasshopper Patterns(2015)

  • Patterns made by grasshopper, a graphical algorithm editor integrated with Rhino's 3-D modeling tools. Developed when I was a graduate student.

MFC-based 3D Rendering Engine(2012)

  • A 3D model rendering engine developed with pure C++. Advanced Computer Graphics course project. Developed by myself when I was a sophomore.
  • A system used to create 4 types of basic 3D models(cube, sphere, cylinder and cone) with different parameters, as well as change camera position and lighting parameters.

  • My role: Developed by myself. Learned to draw graphics with MFC, and learned 3D math/geometry algorithms from scratch.

Panorama Stitching(2012)

  • Computer Vision course project . Developed by myself when I was a sophomore.
  • A panorama stitching system developed by Matlab. Took two (or multiple) images with overlapping regions, and used the SIFT method to detect interest points and construct local descriptors. Then used RANSAC method to coordinate images.

  • My role: Developed by myself. Learned the key algorithms: SIFT and RANSAC.
